Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you, as always, for your continued support at home—especially with daily reading, which makes such a difference to the children’s progress and confidence. It has been wonderful to welcome our Reception parents into school this week for some brilliant junk-modelling fun. Reception has also been making the most of the sunshine with plenty of outdoor play and lots of creative painting (our apologies for the paint that may have travelled home on clothes and little bodies!). Meanwhile, Year 1 and Year 2 have been working incredibly hard on their end-of-term assessments, helping us to see the fantastic progress they’ve made and to identify next steps ready for the start of the summer term.
We hope that the sunshine stays for next week so we can enjoy even more outdoor learning opportunities and hold our Easter Bonnet parade on Friday.
